Once you have applied for Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA) your funding provider may ask you to book a Study Needs Assessment. The cost of the Study Needs Assessment is paid through the Disabled Students’ Allowances.

A study needs assessment will take about 1.5-2 hours to complete. An adviser will explain to you the different types of support an adjustments that might suitable for your specific needs. For example this might include some assistive technology, specialist equipment or 1:1 support.
